Got to a salon first time and ask them to take you step by step how to do it.
I agree with what a lot of people have recommended on here - go to a salon for your first eyebrow shaping. If you don't have the money, time, or access to a salon, it's not too tough to do yourself.

The most important tip - don't pluck any hairs above your eyebrow, unless they're completely out of place. Use an old toothbrush to brush the hairs up and to the outer sides of your face. This is the natural growth direction. Keep your natural shape, just clean up the edges a bit.

If you have stronger, bigger features, you'll want to keep your eyebrows a bit thick. If you have really delicate features, you can get away with thinner brows.

Don't be afraid to go to a mom, aunt, or even grandma about this. I wish I had asked my mom to help me when I first wanted to shape my brows (I ended up cutting - yes, cutting - some of the hairs with little scissors! BIG mistake!)
DONT over pluck. Thats the main thing that most people do when shaping their eyebrows for the first time.

I REALLY advise you to have someone else do them the first time thou, but make sure they actually KNOW what theyre doing.

Also, salons do them too.
Have them shaped by a professional first; then you can just pluck out errant hairs as they come in.
I would suggest threading, it's an ancient art from India and the Middle East where the practitioner uses a twisted cotton thread to remove hair - it's excellent for shaping.

If you are doing it yourself, I would tweeze definitely. The thing to remember with tweezing is not to overtweeze .. you're just trying to get rid of stray hairs, not pluck too much. If you do end up plucking too much, that can be fixed by filling in your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.

To get the shape you want, see a picture of eyebrows you like and determine if they'd fit well with your face. For instance, super-arched eyebrows would look silly on someone with a super round face. Use the picture as a guide when you tweeze.
If you want to tweeze them yourself, a general guideline is to take a pencil and hold it straight up against the side of your nose. This will tell you where the brow should end on the inside. Take the same pencil and hold it vertically where at the outside edge of the iris. This is where you should shape the arch. To find where the brow should end on the outside, hold the pencil vertically against your nose again and then move it at an angle until it is lined up with the outside corner of your eye.

This should give you the overall shape. How much you want to pluck after that is a personal preference.
Use a white pencil to outline the shape you want and then tweeze anything that's out of the line. Don't tweeze too much though!
Just like you wouldnt cut you own hair - i hope! - its best toleave plucking or waxing to the experts. but eyebrows can be unruly or patchy.

you can grrom them without even toutching tweezers!

Comp your brows into an arch then use a dab of vaseline to hold them in place. you can even use concealer to cover up odd, straggly hairs, but dont overdo it. if you have wispy brows, use a pencil in their natrual colour - in fine feather strokes not bold lines:) Hope ive helped :) x
Well, i do it myself, with often good results. Allways pluck from the bottom with sharp tweezers,

I would do a bit at a time on each eye as you dont want wonky ones!!

Use Ice or Frozen peas if your sensative, it will numb out the pain.

Bye. Hope i helped.
well ... if its your first timee getting your eyebrowss donee, defoo go to a salon, they will shape them etc, and then you will have a shape to work from, then you can just clean them and remove any hairs which dont look good :)

good luck

* Eyebrow shaping and filling can make a huge difference in your appearance. I brush my eyebrows down with a eyebrow brush and then pluck any stragglers that have appeared since my last brow work. Next I add on to the ends of my eyebrows to form an arch. If you take a ruler and place it against the side of your nose you can tell where your eyebrows should start. With the ruler still against the side of your nose pivot the top of it to the outer corner of your eye. This is where your eyebrow should end. The high point of the arch should be just to the outer side of your pupil. If there are any gaps in your eyebrow hairs fill them in using short strokes of the pencil.

Or just get them professionally done
dont go craazzzzy an shave em off.......

....bad memory..........

;)

soz thats all i hav!
use a white pencil and trace the shape you want on your eyebrows. then tweeze the hair outside of the line.
You should go to a Beauty Salon and get them waxed.

The wax lasts about four weeks, and when they are grown back, or are growing back, you can go back and get them redone.

You can discuss the shape you want with the Beautician, she will give you advice and everything.

I get mine waxed every month at 拢6.50; they look so nice and everything.

Its way better than plucking them yourself.
Go to a salon and get them shaped. Doing it yourself might be disasterous.
