just wondering :D
and if i get some good answers, i might get them done myself. How do you determine a good eyebrow shape for the shape of your face?
this explains it well: http://www.beauty-advices.com/the-perfect-eyebrow-shape-for-your-face/
and i've always been told to take a pencil and link up the tip of your nose with your pupil. that's where your arch should be.
and don't pluck the hairs above your brow. you can clean it up a bit, but you don't want to lose your natural shape.
usually day spas or high-end salons have skilled technicians that are excellent at waxing. be sure to look at their eyebrows too. that's usually and indication of their shaping style.
and be sure to explain how thick or thin you want your brows before the technician begins waxing. (a terrible mistake i made once. the girl made my usually somewhat-thick eyebrows ridiculously thin!)
if you want to try it yourself ... this is the THE best kit to buy. I absolutlely LOVE it. it's a bit pricey, but i use it all the time and my eyebrows always come out perfect. http://www.anastasia.net/nshop/product.php?view=detail%26amp;productid=AN-10-107000%26amp;groupName=AnastasiasHolidayPicks
Sephora sells it and so does Nordstrom's. I'm not sure where else you can get it. But you'll want to get a consult on which color brown powder to buy. I have dark-looking brows, but I use a blonde powder. I never would've bought it, but the lady at Nordstrom's showed me that the best color was blonde after all.
Have fun! And be conservative. Unfortunately if you make a mistake, it usually takes about 3 weeks for it to grow back. How do you determine a good eyebrow shape for the shape of your face?
you will need a pencil.
the most inner part of your eyebrow should line up vertically with the outside of the corresponding nostril.
the part where your eyebrow bends should line up with the outer part of your nostril and the outer part of your pupil.
then end of your eyebrow should form a line when lined up with the outer part of your eye and the outer part of your nostril.
the measure of your nose to bottom lip you should double that to get the highest point in eyebrow
