Natural is almost always best. Just get those stray hairs plucked or waxed.
keep it thick-shaped and arched only at the centre by clearing the strands around the eye brows. thin high brows are out

Depends on the shape of your eyes, how big your forehead is, and the general shape of your face.
If you have a square angular face, sharp defined eyebrows just make you look mean or angry.
2 seems better but just be natural... it doesn't matter in the end, when someone loves you they do so because of you and not the looks. people can't hide behind makeup all the time

The further apart your eyebrows the smaller your nose looks. Not too far though. Take an eyeliner pencil and place it facing straight up against the side of your nostril, mark it and that is where your eyebrow should begin.

I think that when you pencil your eyebrows that it looks cute. But it all depends on how your face is shaped. If your face is kind of chunky then your eyebrows shouldn't be too skinny, but they shouldn't be too thick either!

There's nothing worse than overplucked eyebrows or ones that have the same thickness from beginning to end...
take a comb place it up against your nose straight up and down. the hair should not pass beyond the comb on the nose side. then rotate the comb out to the outside corner of your eye. the eye brow should not pass beyond the nose side of the comb. The best arch is to follow the shape of your brow as it is. stay pretty:)

The best shape should arch just where the iris aligns with your eyebrow. Make sure its not overly bushy or toothpick thin. Over plucked eyebrows are worst than unplucked eyebrows. You can get your eyebrows waxed, but if you still have very thin, shapeless, light eyebrows I recommend penciling them in with an eyebrow pencil. You can buy one at a drugstore and they cost around 2-3 dollars.. just make sure you get one shade below your hair color. :)

Bring in the pciture but make sure that they would look good with your face shape. Even if you get the same shape as Megan Fox, you won't look like her. so make sure whatever shape fits YOUR face.

Is plucking better than waxing? Which is the easiest maintenance? I haven't worried about this much in the past but recently decided to look into it. Please help me to decide. I want to be able to maintain my own grooming and would prefer to know the easiest way to care for this at home. How do you achieve nice shaped eyebrows?
My eyebrows are very plain, i pluck them every so often so that they're not to bushy and everything but they have no shape. I really want nice shaped pretty looking natural eyebrows but with the least amount of pain. Plucking hurts and i cant shape them that way. And i rather not have to go through the hassle of going to a salon, i dont like other people touching my face.. Is there anyway to achieve nice eyebrows, without going to a salon?How do you achieve nice shaped eyebrows?
No probably not if you don't know what you're doing. Besides... If you think plucking hurts, I doubt you'll like threading or waxing.
Why don't you try plucking right out of a hot shower. Grab no more than one hair at a time, and pull in the direction that the hair grows. While your pulling out the hair, apply pressure with a finger on the opposite side. It makes it alot less painful.

Take your white eyeliner pencil and place a mark right above your eyebrow where the regular pencil intersects your eyebrow. Point B: Various guidelines say two ways of finding point B. Both will give you the approximate point of your arch. First method is to line up your regular pencil vertically to the outside edge of your iris (the colored part) and mark where the pencil intersects your eyebrow with the white eyeliner pencil. Second method is to place the regular pencil next to your nose and turn it to an angle so that the edge of the pencil lies against the edge of your pupil. Then you mark the point with your white eyeliner pencil where the regular pencil intersects your eyebrow. Either one works well and you can even use both methods and make a point right between the two marks. This should be the best place for your arch. Point C: Place the regular pencil against your nose and turn it to an angle so that the edge of the pencil lines up with the outer corner of your eye. well if u dont want to visit a salon then i wouldnt suggest waxing. so your going to have to pluck. your wrong tho plucking can shape the eyebrows, you just have to know how. take a ruler and some eyeliner, then, say ur working on the right eyebrow, line one end of the ruler up with the outer edge of the right nostril, then position the other end so it passes over the inner corner of the eye and mark where it is on the eyebrow. this should be where the eybrow begins. then line up with the pupil and mark on the brow, this should be where the arch reaches its highest. then line up with the outer corner of the eye, this should be the end of the eyebrow. heres a diagram cause i know thats prob. confusing.

yep, mine are exactly like yours. what i do is i get em waxed every 2 weeks, and i tell the guy to thin them out and give me an arch.
Angelina has her painted on like all celebrities. Check out celebrities without make up. They have thin eyebrows that get filled in. You can do the same too. Pluck your eyebrows or get them waxed a bit thinner than normal and then use an eyebrow stencil kit. There is one from a company called Eyebrowz and they have all kind of eyebrow shapes. yep, mine are exactly like yours. what i do is i get em waxed every 2 weeks, and i tell the guy to thin them out and give me an arch.

Pluck your eyebrows or get them waxed a bit thinner than normal and then use an eyebrow stencil kit. There is one from a company called Eyebrowz and they have all kind of eyebrow shapes. Next step , it may sound silly but it works , put the stencil against yr eyebrow , hold it there %26amp; get an eyeliner %26amp; fill it in . When yr done , the preferred shape-filled-in-eyebrow is obviously going to be darkened . Next yr going to shave around the shape of eyebrow that ya wanted . When yr done wash the eyeliner off %26amp; voila ! Archy eyebrow .

The trick is to do it, but make it look like you didn't. Don't let just anyone pluck them, most regular hairdressers are not qualified for eyebrow plucking. Your best bet is to go to a proffesional waxer. It doesn't hurt a lot and it's not expensive. If you insist on having someone you know do it, make sure they only pluck hair with tweezers and that you like how they have shaped their own eyebrows.
Don't do it, you will look gay
Seriously go get it done by a professional first. Maybe they will wax it and then you can just tweaze where the new hairs grow. If you mess to much with the proper lines of your brows you could mess them up for good. THEN you'd have to draw them on every morning :)

Plucked eyebrow shape changed?
I had bushy eyebrows then I plucked them and their shape changed completely. Will their shape return to normal or will it just grow with the same shape and how long does it takePlucked eyebrow shape changed?

Just maybe if u have to much of eyebrowns u might want to use a tweezer and take some off but not shape it.

the brow would look horribly off balance and unnatural...the brow u posted is a tiny bit overkill just because its a photoshoot with overdramatic makeup, but im sure if u took a lot of that tail off and u took away half the filling in, it would look great on her naturally.

Yes they grow back.. Just like everywhere else, and you will see them slowly starting to sprout back like a week after but just keep plucking them back out when you see an excess hair.
And yes you can change the colour of your eyebrows with an eyebrow tint, you will find them in shops.. Do you think i should get my eyebrows shaped before i hair the hair line surgery?
I have a reasonably large sized forehead and so i want to get surgery to move my hair line down a bit.

well it depends what salon you go to. they will never razor your eyebrows. (or at least they shouldn't). typically they will wax them; it can cost anywhere between $12-25 at some higher-end places. after waxing, they will go back in and pluck any stray hairs that did not catch.
however, i would recommend threading (instead of using wax, they just use string; it's amazing how it works! here's a link to check it out:

any were from 10 not to much you i suggest you pluck it they way you want them because sometimes the wax doesn't get all thickness and hairs you want any, but if you pluck at first it helps.

i get mine waxed at a hair salon. it lasts 4 a month. if they take to much u can just fill it with an eyeliner dont do a straight line awhole bunch of small lines looks more natural
a good parlour...also explain what u need to the stylist so that u dont end with wrong brows...

You don't need to go to a salon just look at magazines and copy it.
Salons do very good jobs, thats where I get mine done. If you don't want them any thinner, just tell them to clean them up. THat way they remain the same size but are better looking!

I prefer threading since I've had a reaction sometimes from the wax/oil (to remove the wax). I've found it's cheaper than waxing too. But what I've also learned is a lot of Indian women (which is most of the threading places I know of) wear their eyebrows much bushier and closer together than typical American eyebrows. So I just need to make sure I tell the girl how I want them before she does it. I have been very happy with threading since I found the right place and the right person to do them (it took a little trial and error at first though).

Darling, laser hair removal is the way, ive had it done and its EXCELLENT...it romove the hair completely, i had it done 3 weeks ago and nuffin has grown back since...i dont know if they can do this proceedure on eye brows, but laser hair removal is the way to get rid of hair permanently...you have to have about 6 proceedures but thats every six weeks, and it costs about 拢45 (depends on where u get done i guess) but trust me its worth it.

Yes. Honestly, an eyebrow wax is like a non-surgical facelift. I work in a spa, and I see the wonders of what a simple eyebrow wax can do. (I think that's why you are asking how old we think she looks- I was always bad at guessing- but it does help you look youthful to get your eyebrows waxed).
I remember when my sister thought it was cool to pluck hers all out like a decade ago, and you know what, they never grow back and they are a thin is toothpicks! BUT, that doesn't mean you shouldn't wax. You can still look natural and have minimal maintanence. You should just clean up the underside which is over grown. Also, if you don't want to wax, simply trimming your eyebrows will help with the bushiness. Lighter eyebrows will make your face look brighter (which will occur when you trim and lose some bulk).

Probably the lighting, but they don't look as dark as her hair. That's the only reason I noticed them. They are probably fine otherwise., although they could probably do with some work if you want to nit-pick, just some subtle shaping. Could make a big difference. Just go get them shaped, and then see if you/she like it. She looks about 16,17.

She's pretty, but her eyebrows could use some shaping (although not too much, thicker eyebrows are still in style) and maybe filled in a little with a darker shade to match her hair.

She really needs her eyebrows shaped! She would look younger with a nicely shapened eyebrow!

yes they do.. try using an eyebrow pencil they as they are large, but fine or maybe dye. 17-20
maybe a lil shaping but not too much to the point where the look fake..

Yes. Honestly, an eyebrow wax is like a non-surgical facelift. I work in a spa, and I see the wonders of what a simple eyebrow wax can do. (I think that's why you are asking how old we think she looks- I was always bad at guessing- but it does help you look youthful to get your eyebrows waxed).
