im not sure if that will help or not but it helped me ( =How do you know what eyebrow shape to get ?
if you have very thick eyebrows you have enough hair to arch them. IF you dont have that much hair you have to settle for curved. I have to settle for curved :(
all I can tell you is to look at all the different ways of doing it and then look in the mirror and picture them on you and see which one you like best
take a pencil and hold it from the tip of ur nose to the pupil in ur eye and where the pencil is on ur brow thats where the arch should be or you can just ask the person whos doing ur brows cause they would know....i hope haha!
the ppl who do them for you will actually know how to shape it, so dont worry...
The woman that does mine just knows what to do %26amp; what looks good on who, so I just go in %26amp; let her do her thing. She always does a great job---I figure she's the professional.

You could try going in and asking who does yours what they recommend would look best on you %26amp; see if you agree. You could also try taking in pictures that you like to see if they can make them like that.

Good luck!
If you're doing them at home. Use an ink pen to mark where you need to wax/pluck.

Use the pen and hold it right beside your nose. Draw an imaginary line straight up toward your eyebrow. Your brows should stretch just over your tear ducks. Use the pen again from your nose;only this time hold it at an angle pointing outward. Where it reaches, is where your brow should stop. It is usually 1/4';-ish past your eye. Now, look into the mirror; the arch in your brow should start directly above the inner part of the pupil.

If your getting them done professionally you should be safe; most of them use these same guidelines.

:]
It's all upon your preference. Get some stencils at Wal-Mart. They're good.

Cheers!
